At Christ Church we believe Christian formation is an ongoing process. For this reason we encourage lifelong spiritual growth by providing community, education, and resources which empower us to grow in faith as disciples of Jesus. For more information about Adult Education contact the church office.
During the program year, Tracy Rubin, M.Div. leads a Bible Study on Wednesday from 10:00 am - 12pm. Adults gather weekly for prayer and exploration of a particular book of the bible.
Adult Forums are held after the Sunday 10am Holy Eucharist. The forums are led by clergy and parishioners of Christ Church as well as noted speakers. Adult forums provide an opportunity to learn about different aspects of our faith and to engage in conversation with one another. The schedule and speakers are announced at the start of each season.
The Episcopal Way
The Episcopal Way is a four part series for people who are interested in joining the Episcopal Church or learning more about it. Taught by the clergy it will cover the history, governance, theology, beliefs and sacraments of the Episcopal Church.
Seasonal Series and Retreat Days
During Advent and Lent, Christ Church offers programs that help parishioners enter more deeply into the liturgical season. The programs may include a day long retreat or a weekly offering.
A group of women gather periodically throughout the year for prayer, nourishment, and companionship. Activities have included small group discussions, books groups, and retreats. For more information contact Jennifer McCracken at email@example.com.
