Teen Scene
Christ Church’s Youth Group is open to all youth in grades 9 through 12 who share a common mission to grow emotionally, spiritually, and socially. At Youth Group gatherings, members are free to exchange thoughts and ideas in an environment which helps build faith and self-confidence. The Youth Group meets monthly for dinner, fellowship, fun, prayer, learning and service. Activities are based on the interests of the youth, but have included bowling, making pizza, s’mores by the bonfire, movies and trips to Boston attractions. We also gather for retreats, worship and conversations about timely issues. The youth often choose to participate in a Mission Trip to serve Christ by serving their neighbors. The Youth Group has traveled to places such as Texas, Iowa, and Mississippi, while also participating in local service projects.
