Organist
Jane Flummerfelt graduated from Indiana University and received a masters degree in choral conducting from Northwestern University. She has worked as Director of Music and Organist for many churches, most recently at Hancock United Church of Christ in Lexington where she was pleased to direct combined parish and community choirs in semi-annual presentations of major works with professional soloists and orchestra. Active as an accompanist for many soloists and ensembles, she has been Director of Choral Activities at Roosevelt University, (Chicago) and Harper College. She has two sons; Mark an interpreter for the UN in Nepal and Tom, a Boston- based entrepreneur, father of the light of Jane’s life……..Leila, 19 months!
