- Bible Study Mornings with Skip; Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.
Bible Study Evenings with Peter; Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
This is an intermediate level Bible study group that is convened by the clergy. It meets Wednesdays 10:30 to noon in the Memorial Room nearby the Upper Parish Hall. The group decides what book or gospel they will study in scripture. Only a Bible is required for this group. For the past year the group read, studied and interpreted the Gospels of Mark and John, Paul’s Letter to Philemon, and the Book of Esther. At the beginning of each class is sharing time; and most recently, we discussed the new movie The Passion of Christ. The group has approximately twenty members and new members are always welcome.

Co-Journey to Confirmation
Partner with a teen or an adult going through the process leading to Confirmation. Your commitment is to attend five classes, several meetings, and a weekend retreat. Contact Julia Baker.
Interfaith Laity
The mission of the group is to promote understanding of other religions and
peoples through communication in order to promote tolerance. First by educating
ourselves, then by disseminating information to our faith community, and lastly by
informing the larger Needham community. Currently, the focus is on the Middle East.
Committee meetings are held at Christ Church on the first Wednesday of each month,
7:00-8:30 p.m. Meetings to which the larger community is invited we will be held in
other locations. There are about 12 members representing seven Needham congregations
and new members from any religious community are welcomed. Contact Co-Chair Sue Fleming or Mitch Kurker.
Men’s Group
This group meets at 9:00 a.m. on the second Sunday of each month.
Recently, the group decided to volunteer their services and manual labor to do small
projects at the church. An outing to a PawSox game is also being planned. Join them for
fellowship and fun. Contact Bob Begin.
