Church School

Registers approximately 80 children each year from three years of age to eighth grade. Classes begin with PreK/K and continue to sixth grade, followed by Junior Youth Group for grades seven and eight and Youth Group for grades nine through twelve. Journey to Adulthood (J2A) is a two-year program leading to Confirmation, preparing teens for adult responsibility in the church.

New teachers are needed for all class levels every year and no prior experience is required.

Co-Journey to Confirmation

Partner with a teen or an adult going through the process leading to Confirmation. Your commitment is to attend five classes, several meetings, and a weekend retreat. Contact Julia Baker.

The Youth Group

The Youth Group at Christ Church is a gathering of teenage students from area high schools who share a common mission to grow emotionally, socially, and spiritually. Our activities, projects, and classes are designed to develop skills in building relationships, group dynamics, and leadership among our youth. Through these activities we promote to instill spiritual, ethical and moral values that would help our youth to take on adult responsibilities in their life ahead. Our youth group gathering provides a friendly, hospitable, and nonjudgmental place, where youth are free to exchange their views, ideas, and opinions, which, in turn, would help them develop their self-confidence, trust in each other, identity, and faith. Contact The Rev. Peter G. Tierney, III for more information.
