- Community Concerns Committee
-
- The work of this committee centers around homelessness and the
provision of shelter and food through the support of various programs.
The group tries to support the organizations doing the most comprehensive work,
not only providing food and shelter, but job counseling, training, and help in
preparing for job hunting. The group has approximately 13 members and meets quarterly.

- Mission to Haiti
-
-
We are a group of health professionals and lay volunteers based at Christ Episcopal Church in Needham, MA. We travel to Haiti or other third world nations to provide medical and and other humanitarian aid
to the poorest of the poor. We pay for our own travel expenses and bring with us medications and supplies we will be dispensing. We are supported by private donations, by fund raising events, and receive support from Christ Church. Though people of all and people of no faith are most welcome to travel and work with us, we are part of the mission work of Christ Church and see our work as living the teachings of Jesus, who healed the sick and called the poor blessed.
For more information contact Emilie Hitron or Barbara Murphy.
